Meet Max Hyde

Max Hyde is a Spartanburg native who cares deeply and thoughtfully about improving his community and his state. On November 13, 2018, Hyde was sworn in as representative for South Carolina House of Representatives District 32.

During 2018, Hyde also began serving as president of the (Downtown) Rotary Club of Spartanburg, which meets at the Piedmont Club. He is one of the youngest presidents in the history of the 101-year-old club – the second Rotary Club organized in South Carolina. Hyde and his wife, Eliza, have four children.

Max Hyde was sworn in as Representative for SC House of Representatives District 32 on November 13, 2018.

Hyde, founder of Hyde Law Firm, has a track record of civic service, including an appointment by Governor Nikki Haley to serve on the Spartanburg County Commission for Higher Education. He also has chaired the Spartanburg Community College Foundation Board of Directors and City of Spartanburg Board of Zoning Appeals.
